Gender Equality for the Very Young Adolescents:

This project is a part of MOMENTUM Country and Global Leadership (MCGL). MOMENTUM Country and Global Leadership provide technical and capacity development assistance to ministries of health and other country partners to expand global leadership and learning and enable government-led partnerships to deliver high-quality, evidence-based interventions that accelerate reductions in maternal, new-born, and child mortality and morbidity. This project is implementing from March 2021. The project is funded by USAID through World Renew.
Project Goal: Improved gender equality among VYA girls and boys in 2 unions of Shyamnagar sub-district in Satkhira District.
Project Focus:

1. 1. Increased gender-equitable attitudes and behaviours among VYA boys and girls in 2 unions of Shyamnagar sub-district by SEP 2021.
2. 2. Increased gender-equitable treatment of VYA girls by parents in the home in 2 unions of Shyamnagar sub-district by SEP 2021.
3. 3. Improved community attitudes about gender equity (keeping girls in schools) in 2 unions of Shyamnagar sub-district by SEP 2021.
